Marriage Day

Live Lille I tell you my last day in Bishkek, that of marriage. Attention that might not be long ...

Most of the Kyrgyz are Muslim and all are shamans, daily life is punctuated by traditional rites and ceremonies even more, we are not used, so we wanted to follow the couple all day . It was hot!

At 11h15 we visit the apartment of the groom's family: the family already was busy getting dressed for some decorate cars for others, and guests poured in from all sides. It was the real crowd in this small apartment, no one knew where to go.

We started around 11:45 by what is believed to be the ceremony at the mosque and then not, in fact it was a visit to an apartment of the bride's family where both spouses were already installed at the end a table. When I walked in I said the first two people I saw: "Francia!" since they were asking who this nénette who came home and they then turned inwards swarmed the apartment where about twenty people and shouted "Francia! Francia!" and let us go so we can drag us deep into the apartment, even as close as the two married, everyone seemed to expect, at least they looked happy to see us even if we do know them.
Once the viewer enters the room, the couple stood, champagne (chaud!) was served and then distributed to support the sister of the bride and her mother, both very moved, successively a toast (there used to drink as soon as someone has toast). Then a woman appears to be the grandmother said a prayer, it was moving. The glasses were drunk as dry and presto! it again: a man of the family had ordered the elevator to avoid grandmother back down the 3 floors and everybody rushed down the stairs to position themselves on the steps of the building and wait for the bride and groom . At this point we still thought to have attended the ceremony at the mosque (there is many mosques in basements of buildings here!) But no, it was not 13h and we go there only. The procession of honking cars decorated in dark in the streets of Bishkek to reach the mosque on time.

It includes the groom's parents (those of married we were not followed): at the entrance of the mosque's mother files a white veil on her head and shoulders of his future daughter-in-all Women make scarves or at least cover their shoulders, except that my aunt and I had nothing planned! There has still been allowed to attend the ceremony.
During the ceremony a cell phone rings, then 2 ... of the imam! Like what, traditions mingle with new technologies easily! It was cool to be there the heart traditions, yet atheist and anticlerical, I'm glad I attended a Muslim wedding, I had never done, and then as I do not understand anything I liked the songs of the imam!

In a run you get up, we re-runs to re-darken cars honking their horns to a public garden where we stop near a monument to the dead seems to me there. It may take about 3 or 4 families who have had the same idea: the cars are all stuck together, no longer knows who is part of "our" family or not - we must say that it should not be many nice sites come and take photos in Bishkek, and then it seems to be tradition for everyone to go through it. It must also be said that is the last Saturday before the start of Ramadan and we will perceiving throughout the day that many families in Bishkek wanted to marry their children that day! So we

pours champagne (still hot ...) and it is silent to listen grandmother read the card she had prepared for married and is moved, she has always dreamed of visiting this part of the world and it was unexpected for her to do at age 88. I'm excited to see it moved ...
Then we let go the couple accompanied by their photographer and cameraman for a private photo shoot near the fountains of the park. Meanwhile and until about 15h we will wait in a cafe where we take a small snack, we met twenty but we do not mix too: friends of the couple begin to get drunk on vodka, cousins come together and we share our impressions from the French.

Here we go again, towards the palace of marriages where one hallucinates! Already on the road we meet 4 or 5 limousines and 4x4 limousines even rented for weddings, the streets of Bishkek are literally swept processions; before the palace of weddings there there is more room for parking: 3 limousine, a half-dozen beautiful Mercedes dressed (all cars have married two alliances on their roof). In the palace is insane, at least two hundred people are gathered, the different families of married, the couple prepared to climb the stairs waiting on the sides (right men, women left). One has the impression that it is a mess but everything is orchestrated: when they get married are separated and the look in their control room they are preparing for the shoot bottom of steps and photographer for the pickups when he finished with the previous ones. They sit bottom of the stairs with their families for pictures then they are called in microphone: they are positioned, traditional music sounds (ta.. Tatata) and the family has the balconies upstairs applauds, screams, whistles encourage them. I even saw a bride cry herself by entering and exiting from the room had been given on oath. Then the whole family follows in the room. Unlike in our family invited to the marriage does not necessarily follow all these ceremonies, the largest in Kyrgyzstan is party night.
After a "fast" (in quotes because in Kyrgyzstan everything takes time!) switching to another war memorial to take pictures "among young people" (I'm the only French top, nice!) we finally went to the restaurant where we had appointment at 17.20 (do not ask me why "20"!).

Everyone must be installed before the spectacular married, you must install the 160 guests, although it takes 1 hour! The tables are already full, filled with dishes prepared by women on the eve of the groom's family (here is the family of the groom who arranges the marriage): we can not even put an elbow on the table so there a, and only the entrance!
The newlyweds come accompanied by musicians and music passed to the PA at least 150,000 db is too much! There is no agreement about is a little tiring ...
The evening is orchestrated by a presenter who called in turn the different families that all have come to the microphone to say a word to the married. Each time the bride and groom must stand as far to say they did not have much to eat. After each toast music is rejected and those present at the microphone began to dance from the bride and groom kiss at their table.
Between each toast or almost was entitled to small events: the golden voice of Kyrgyzstan, the dancers world champions ... all are very talented side and despite the "kitsch" of the thing is impressive. The presenter himself pushes chantonnette at times, and his colleague.
It was also entitled to the auctioning of a bottle of cognac in 1989 provided by his grandmother married when he was little ... Bids were long lasting and is a French eventually win it! He impressed everyone by saying he would call the auction the day of the wedding of his daughter 5 months!
Finally there was all set to dance while the dishes are succeeding on the tables, seems to have brought honor to our guests dancing to their music, trying to imitate them in their oriental dances, and then I had to dance with a gentleman who had led several women came to me kiss, thank me with this man, and I am happy to have danced! It was touching to see strong and how they were honored to have seen me dancing with one of them while I felt equally "liable" to be welcomed as a member of the family. The happiness was mutual and I would have wanted to tell them how I was touched so much attention during the day but also throughout the stay.
The evening did not end later, the restaurant was to be delivered at midnight and again all women were working to take down the decorations, empty tables of leftovers, though guests were charged to take with them, "it brings happiness to the newlyweds!"

We had to leave after this long day Kyrgyzstan but strong, invited next year for the wedding of one in Uzbekistan to visit others.
Despite the language barrier we were super easy and we understand the words were not necessary to say that we appreciated that and was delighted to meet, although sometimes communication was somewhat limited. Only positive for this trip, youpiiiii!

Roll on next year!

Female Celebrities That Have Done Brazilian Wax

базар

Today we got the дордой базар (Dordoy bazaar), the famous walk with containers stacked on each other, it is huge, labyrintesque, enough to drive you crazy if you do not find Exit!
is a small town in the city: people are established in their containers and wait for the client there has the area of furs, hats, the shoes, appliances, ... and pass the vendors of sandwiches, tea, juices of all types installed in old prams recycled. At the corner of streets there is also something to drink or buy a kebap because people are accustomed to spend several hours to buy everything they need.
I guess you can also find vegetables, fruits, meat, but frankly we have not explored all, it was our last day open and we had to hurry to wander into town and buy all the latest memories, and for me and dress shoes for the wedding tomorrow!
Then we returned to цум (Zum) that had already visited the first day is a great store on 4 floors (well done to them ca 5 because the floor does not exist, there has from 1) the ground floor with all that is mobile phones and cameras the first perfumes, sunglasses, liquor, second in the souvenir shops (shoes, hats, wool scarves, mini yurts, chess ...) and jewelry, the third found the audiovisual equipment and cd and DVD and the latest appliances. Guess where we stopped? "
After a lunch break we finally went to ош базар (Osh bazaar) where I wanted to find the fabric, then say it was a good excuse to visit a bazaar again, these places fascinate me so they teem with people and you see how they consume more because in going to the supermarket is not too dépayse ...
So I had to buy the fabric since they had sent three people to accompany us and the time before the vendors I do not see myself saying, "Oh, it was not just to see!". I found what I wanted, that was cool.
What was less cool is that the bus going there I had the bad surprise for me to open my bag by a young man, whom I found charming at first because he had leaves his seat ... it was to be best place to see what I had in the back! It was the first time it happened to me and it's not pleasant to have to be wary, because of course the coup in the bazaar while I carry bag on his stomach, and I hate that! Finally, what are the risks of being a tourist ...
I'm pretty proud of myself, I managed on my own to take a taxi and take the entire family safely tonight, I come to read and say a few basics and yet the language and the Cyrillic seemed unaffordable to begin with.
Tonight we were treated to gifts of departure, in addition to being made accommodations, vehicle, accompanied in our daily tasks for 1 week, these people are crazy! A delicious bottle of vodka and a hat!
starting at 11am tomorrow for the wedding: 13h mosque (not sure of power enter but we'll see), palace marriages 15h and the evening starts at 17h at the restaurant (the women of the groom's family had spent the day preparing food). We may not sleep much, and especially to have a hangover on the plane because we took off at 6:50 Sunday morning! Kyrgyzstan
Bye bye!

ШОЛРОН АТА (Cholpon Ata)

After two days of back tomorrow morning Вишкек (Bishkek) through Токмок (Tokmok) to see the "Balbal" (I am not sure of the spelling of these words) and Tower Буран (Buran) ; we should put the day walking the 300 km that separate us from the capital ...

Hot And Noisey Plastic Pants

Magic

Pfffffff, how to say ... after several days without writing it's difficult to condense.
After two days in the capital - Bishkek - we left the mountain, the northeast. On the road it was "lick" the border with Kazakhstan, we have even stayed on 500 meters. The people, the scenery is beautiful: it is near China, the mixing of genres is .. I can not find my words! They are beautiful, the mountains are amazing as they are Arrid, tall, red-lined yurt camps in which people actually live! For me it was only a tourist trap, I thought that nobody lived there. On the edge of the road they sell honey, cheese (goat?) And Kumi (fermented milk, so alcoholic, with whom the Russians like to get drunk).
We arrived in the family and the culture shock has wrought; AC would probably not have been the so if I had already rubbed shoulders with Muslim families before, but ... it was welcomed as members of the family, full tables, dining abundances only a few minutes apart, almost! The evening grandmother was hosted in a family ... Breathtaking! these people have landed in the night, not so late for us but for them I think, to bring us home, we let them go to bed and huddle with four in a room where there was only one bed instead ... The emotions are strong.
The next departure for a picnic-barbecue in a gorge dotted with yurts camp I had never seen it, it moves four cars, an average of 6 in each, with the mutton pieces prepared the day before, specially slaughtered for the 88-year grandmother, potatoes and carrots out of the ground, picked apples that morning in the garden of tata, small wood stove to heat the water from the ... In something that sounds like a mess everything is organized so well in fact: you peel, you do the skewers, cut ... and presto! The first dish is ready. Then free time for 3 hours while the soup cooks (it has no right to grab the dough): let's go for a ride that horse continues (yes agree, it makes big tourists ...) until a waterfall too pretty.
This corner is quite frequent and tourism almost exclusively by Russians who know because there was previously nursing homes in the Soviet era in the corner so natural and they come in the flip flops, women all ponponnees - "are not so well equipped than us."
The day ended with a meal at a restaurant with a huge cake bought for the occasion, even with the whole family (I had to cut 30 shares !!)...
I have to leave the job, the cousin had a meeting!
And still no pictures ...

School Of Rock Streaming?

's it, leaving for Bishkek is scheduled for tomorrow at 1:40 p.m. at Roissy.
The bag is ready, small gifts for the family inside and I managed to not over charge at the start and hope to complete it on site. I look forward to a true market consists of containers covered surperposés: those below serving those stores and over the storage of goods. Also looking forward to sleeping in a yurt! Deeply
Friday morning: on the one hand I have no idea of what might look like this country and its inhabitants, the other for the adventure of starting a family (uncle, aunt, cousin and grandmother) and especially ... for once - and I do not recognize this too - I fear for the flight!
I think I can send news out there but since we will spend some days in the mountains I'm not sure this can be done live or almost. We will return, but I would like to do in India, I was telling my story from day to day and it allowed me to give my impressions online.
A longer in the bus for more!

Miniature Poodle Vs Westie

Lille

I'm starting to talk Lille.
It's been just 6 months that I live in the cultural capital of Europe and I must say that this aspect of things I'm into the most by coming to live here. Pace of Marseilles, we had a choice between the city and north ... fosséenne and we have not thought too long. Hey! so we preferred to unconditional sun in the sky, the heart of Lille.
And we must say we are not disappointed: the first smile that welcomes every customer and every visitor with an unconditional "bonjour madame". Then the warm nights of here! We live in a well traveled street, both during the day with its numerous shops and night since it is the way neighborhood bars Wazemmes; without laughing, even in winter weekends from Friday evening to Sunday morning, people are constantly moving beneath our windows, singing (single glazed ...) and it can only make us want to join .. besides, I was very frustrated the first few months here without knowing anyone, to hear people partying in the streets!
It is true that I could m'incruster in a group to celebrate both Lille are friendly ... Yes, I hear you say "to the alcohol ..."... Havre does that people do not walk in the street evening in mid-winter in the rain to sing bawdy songs or hits the top 50 in stopping to talk with passers-by!
It's true that at first I saw only beautiful things, nice people and when I returned to Le Havre as idiots, funny! The truth is not so clear but the difference is still clearly palpable!
Another evening I will continue ...

How To Use Vba Saves On Gpsphone

Next trip ...

The Khirghizistan or Khirgiztan or Khirghizie ... finally there in the east.

Departure scheduled Aug. 21 in family (The longer it goes the more you are many ...), the gap between the youngest and the oldest is 88 years!
Go later in the preparations ... I think few will in the family since then nothing adventurous, except for my grandmother who is a joy of such a journey at her age!
Well it makes me tear to the eye!
